The Property:
Casa Agave is an incredibly unique property, given its amazing history. The house was originally designed and built by the iconic black and white film actress Mary Astor in the 1950s. She originally designed the house to serve as her summer home where she wrote most of her books, including her incredible autobiography.
This beautiful house now has an additional Casita on the property, which is fully equipped with everything your guests might need.
Casa Agave’s Main House offers guests:
- 2 Bedrooms with queen size beds in the Main House
- Private bathroom for each bedroom
- Fireplaces in bedroom and bathrooms
- Coffee self-service
Casa Agave’s Casita offers guests:
- 1 Bedroom with a queen size bed
- Private bathroom
- Fireplace in bedroom

The house is designed like most colonial houses, with easy access from one room to the other, which gives this house a wonderful flow. The Main House has a beautiful little soaking pool a few paces outside the main house, with easy access to the kitchen and bedrooms; and with a gorgeous view of Mt. Alamos.
The Surrounding Area:
Casa Agave boasts a beautiful fruit tree orchard as well as an organic kitchen garden. These are both fully accessible to guests when in season. It also offers its guests:
